It’s not difficult to reach Hua Hin from Bangkok. The distance is only 170 kilometers from the capital city of Thailand. On the way to Hua Hin from Bangkok, you will find many attractions so your trip will be full with seeing and visiting many interesting places. The travelers can choose one of four routes to arrive at Hua Hin town. The first or the fastest route is through passing Samut Sakhon as well as Samut Songkhram by taking the highway 3 and highway 4. By taking these ways, you will arrive at the Petchaburi and Prachaup Khiri Khan area, and finally you will arrive safely at Hua Hin. ]
If you choose the second route, you will pass the Nakhon Pathom and Ratchaburi by taking the Highway 4. The rest is you just need to go straight to Hua Hin. Both routes are easy to be through, giving you sights of local people’s lifestyle and some pictures of villas in Thailand style as well. On the way to Hua Hin you will also enjoy some impressive attractions such as Samut Sakhon which is about 50 kilometers away from Bangkok, Samut Songkhram in kilometer 72, Nakhon Pathom in kilometer 56, and Ratchaburi in kilometer 100 from Bangkok. Each attraction will entice you to drop by and take a look at the beauty that each area has to offer.
The four main attractions that you pass on the way to Hua Hin from Bangkok are somehow very interesting and worth exploring. In Samut Sakhon you will be tempted to visit the Prawn Farm, Salt Farm, Mahachai Market, and the Khok Kham Canal. The daily life of local people there is quite fascinating. Samut Songkhram is an area that had been honored by UNESCO in 1968 for its attainment in education, science, and culture. In this area, you will be recommended to visit King Rama II Memorial Park where the cluster of five Thailand-typical wooden houses are built, and the Don Hoi Lot area where you can collect hoi lot shells when it’s low tide.
Nakkon Pathom is an old city where the tallest Pagoda in the world called Phra Panthom Chedi is located here. Besides the pagoda, this city is known for Sanamchan Palace, Ya-le monument, Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo, Phutta Monthon Park, as well as Thai Human Imagery Museum. The last attraction is Ratchburi area which is renowned for its Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. If you arrive there in early morning before 7am then you will see the attractive canal which is crowded with boats trading vegetables. The other interesting sites include Ban Khu Bua Ruins, Wat Khanon Nang Yai Museum, Khao Chong Phran Mount, Khao Bin Cave, Pong Krathing Hot Spring, and Bo Khlueng Hot-Water Well. |
